What is your job title?
Customer Service Manager
What does that mean you actually do?
I support the customer service team with the enquiries that we receive, and make sure that the team have all the relevant knowledge and information that they need to do this to the best of their ability.
What is the best part of your job?
Helping customers with their queries is very satisfying. I love working with a brilliant team and seeing their knowledge and confidence grow.
Are you a tea or coffee drinker?
Neither! I would prefer a glass of prosecco!
What is the funniest thing that’s happened to you onsite?
So many silly things happen that it’s hard to think of one particular moment! It’s definitely important to have some fun onsite to help get you through the long and tiring days.
What is the most challenging part of your role?
As well as dealing with the enquiries we also have lots of time sensitive tasks to complete, so making sure that all deadlines are met can be a challenge!
A little birdie tells me you’re responsible for the extra-curricular activities for the Circdata team? What are the best events you have you organised, and are there any funny stories you’re willing to divulge?
My favourite social event was a summer party we had a couple of years ago. It was fun to organise as I loved all the summery themed decorations and accessories that we had, and it was so nice to see everyone relaxed and having fun. There are always silly things that happen but one of my favourites was when a colleague took the wrong door trying to find the toilets and ended up locked outside on the roof of the bar, luckily she had her phone with her and could call us to have her let back in again!
